Today I bring you a review, yes, it’s been a while since I wrote one but now I’m back with a great book I might add 🙂

UFO: Lights in the Desert by Solomon Night is a treat for lovers of horror fiction.

This is a story inspired by true events. Three lifelong friends embark on a five-day camping trip to Utah’s West Desert. They plan to ride ATV’s exploring the area searching for old abandoned mines. While out riding they reach their destination, the three come across strange markings in the desert- and are later witness to what they believed to be a meteor shower. As the next few days pass, the strangeness spreads, and things quickly escalate leaving them in a fight for survival.

I know, I know, how dare I leave you with such a cliffhanger, but I won’t spoil too much and you have to read the rest for yourself because it gets really good! Why? Well, most horror fiction is mostly smoke and mirrors. Modern writers really don’t know what it would feel like to be in such a scenario—no matter how much research they do—so the success of such books depends largely on creating a convincing and immersive read. Solomon rises to this challenge with great skill in this accomplished, atmospheric and thoughtful book.
