Introverts and extroverts – two opposites
Every human being is unique and unique. In his appearance, his nature, his personality and his character traits . Depending on how he behaves outwardly and towards other people, he is classified either as an introverted or an extroverted person.
He practices a personal style of behavior that makes him most comfortable in the different situations of life and in his environment. He is uncomfortable when other people do not conform to his pattern of behavior. Then acceptance, tolerance, understanding and adaptability are required to adapt to the needs of others or to a situation.
Psychoanalysts have found personality models that result in different behaviors of people:
These patterns of behavior and characteristics appear differently in the opposite poles, either as introverts or extroverts .
What is introverted – Introversion?
It is one of the personality traits and the antipode to extroversion. Being introverted means focusing more on “inside” than “outside”.
Introverted people are often silent observers and sensitive fellow human beings. Unfortunately, their alleged “passivity” is misinterpreted far too often by others and the perceived restraint is usually equated with shyness . It is not so.
Introvert People – Beings and Characteristics
They love it more calmly, contemplatively and lead conversations with “draft”. For party noise, events or celebrations with a large participation, they are hardly to inspire. They prefer to enjoy their domestic idyll and security, quiet places in nature and recharge their batteries in the small family or circle of friends.
Their sociability is geared towards people with “added value”, their entrepreneurial spirit is focused on actions with meaningfulness. They are usually classified according to their temperament to the melancholy. They tend to depressive moods and quickly limit sensory overload.
Essential characteristics of the character are:
- Attentive observers and listeners
- Conscientiousness, reliability, punctuality
- Meticulous, focused and diligent way of working
- Inquisitive, well read and usually very intelligent
- They think first and then talk (what they say “hand and foot”)
- Put on sustainability of their actions
- Modesty (not in the limelight)
- Good “entertainers” with yourself
- They love independence in every respect
Introverts live according to the motto: “In the silence lies the power”. This feature benefits them especially in professional leadership positions. Their lifestyle means more “class” than “mass”.
What is extroverted – Extroversion?
As an antipole to the introversion, it is also a personality trait. To be extroverted means to act more “outside” than inward, to communicate and to impressively put yourself in the limelight with facial expressions, gestures and words.
Extroverted people – beings and character traits
They include people who like socializing, “cheering, bustle, joy”. They do not seem as “buttoned up” as introverts . Their open way of approaching others spontaneously, their willingness to socialize and mostly dominant behavior gives them respect and a larger “circle of friends” than the introverts.
People who already have a high level of publicity are often extroverted (actors, artists, musicians). Being successful is almost natural for them. It becomes dramatic when things are no longer the same and supposed friends break away.
- Their active actions are often spontaneous
- I like talking and much
- Determining (indicate the “sound”)
- Pronounced self-esteem
- Tendency to euphoria
- social commitment
Extroverted people , according to their temperament, can also be found among the choleric. In their brisk, energetic nature, they are known in many instances as leaders or adventurers.
Human behavior is determined by two major influences:
- Cheap and unfavorable perception
- Strong and less strong self-perceptions
This results in active or passive reactions. Whether intro or extroverted: A precise demarcation will hardly exist, because humans can tend to the other “category” depending on their mood.
