Might is Right is my favorite “philosophy” book.
Especially the rants about the uselessness and wretchedness of the masses who through because of their stupidity don’t deserve anything better than the mental and physical slavery that their lives are. Also, great are the parts about the the utter insanity of the Christian idea of loving ones enemies and turning the other cheek, as well as accepting a deity outside your own culture as your own. But the best part about this book is is that it does not matter whether you like it or not, it doesn’t matter whether you agree with what he says because, Might is Right.
Might Is Right Excerpts
What is “government and law” if their ripened harvests are men without sap?
What are “religions and literatures” if their grandest productions are hordes of faithful slaves?
What is “evolution and culture” if their noxious blossoms are sterilized women?
What is “education and enlightenment” if their dead-sea-fruit is a caitiff race, with rottenness in its bones?
The living forces of evil are to be found in the living ideals of to-day
There is no obligation upon any man to passive obedience, when his life, his liberty and his property are threatened by footpad, assassin or statesman.
With the possession of an “independence,” a man is free to materialize his ideals; and if he is “well born” it is impossible for his ideals to partake of the ignoble
