The power of subliminal messages to the subconscious
Subliminal messages can manipulate our subconscious mind and thus influence our behavior
They were mocked by established scientists. We were told that they do not work! And why have millions been spent on research and development in the advertising industry? Why have rock stars been brought to justice for their alleged use, and why have their use on television and radio been banned by British, Australian, and American governments?
Why? …. Because they work!
Not so many years ago we were told that subliminal advertising does not exist. Today we can find the truth about it all over the internet. The information age has allowed the bubble to burst from the myth that subliminal advertising would not exist. In addition, there is now empirical scientific evidence to support the belief that subliminal messages are very effective in influencing human behavior.
In 2006, a study was conducted by a group of behavioral researchers at a university in the Netherlands. They found that subliminal messages had a massive impact on people if the right conditions were met.
They influenced subjects with subliminal messages to drink a particular beverage and found that in fact 80% of the subjects chose this subliminal product when they were thirsty.
Today, the famous British psycho-wizard, Derren Brown, shows a world audience how the power of subliminal news can be used to manipulate people. He himself used this technique to make a profit on a race ticket with a hopeless ticket!
However, despite the mass fear of opinion manipulation and the millions spent by advertising agencies, subliminal messages should not be considered inherently bad.
A scythe has had the primary purpose of cutting wheat for hundreds of years. However, in the past, it was also used as a weapon in wartime conditions to kill people.
You can not blame the tool for the way it is misused.
We are bombarded with subliminal stimuli every second of daily life and there is not always an intention behind it. We just can not consciously register and filter all those stimuli that affect our senses.
We unconsciously perceive things like the temperature of the air, the wrist watch, the couple arguing about money across the street, the lamp still burning at 2:00 pm, etc. These external stimuli are being picked up and processed by the subconscious mind and saved.
So all subliminal are impulses that act “below the threshold of consciousness”.
So a subliminal message is a message that is below the perception of your own consciousness and is stored in the memory of the subconscious mind.
Now the subconscious not only works as a memory, but is also responsible for all our bodily functions and movements.
In order to move our fingers, it must calculate and perform a variety of complicated muscle contractions that begin with action potentials and neurotransmitters in the brain. These calculations must be accurate.
Imagine how complicated it would be if you had to consciously estimate how far a car is from you.
But your subconscious mind can do it right now!
It has learned all this through repetition.
Look at a baby. It can neither walk nor talk, nor does it have full control over its motor function (movement of body parts).
The baby first learns these things through conscious effort.
After many attempts and failures, the baby finally learns, until the functions pass into the subconscious mind.
The subconscious then responds in similar situations by calling the stored information and responding to it.
Exactly the same process happens when, for example, an adult learns to drive a car.
However, many problems arise because the subconscious reacts in the same way with emotional reactions to certain situations. It stores them and responds to situations that it considers to be similar.
For example, when you were younger you were laughed at and rejected by a girl you liked, and now, if you like a potential partner, you are behaving awkwardly, insecure, clumsy, panicking, and wanting to run away – but the original character It is deep and takes a long time to fade.
The subconscious mind is a habit animal.
It picks up on what the consciousness is going through and repeats that belief in your emotional responses, thoughts, actions, and even in your environment.
The subconscious is extremely powerful.
The only problem is that it believes everything it says without the slightest reservation. However, we have a safety net.
The guardian at the door of the subconscious mind is our conscious mind, that governs what is allowed and what is not, to come through.
That’s the thinking of you who is reading this article now.
As we see in the example of the baby, the general way of gaining access to the subconscious is through repetition.
You should now understand why the method of self-programming (self-conditioning) can be so powerful if used properly.
If subliminal messages can manipulate our emotional responses and influence us to choose a particular product, as demonstrated in the Netherlands, then it can also be used as an invaluable self-optimization tool.
Imagine releasing your shyness and timidity and feeling confident and free. Or you feel calmer and more relaxed in situations where you used to experience stress.
Imagine you are programming to think and act like Bill Gates or Rockefeller.
Imagine, you are able to create your own very personal subliminal messages to program your subconscious mind with.
Just imagine it all!
