Why we should rely on the self-healing powers of the body
You are the best medicine yourself
You know yourself best.
You are the closest to your body.
You yourself understand your body best.
You know your feelings best.
All this does not mean that we do not need a doctor anymore. But we should not transfer the responsibility for ourselves to a doctor.
It is good to be able to trust a treating doctor, but more importantly, to have the fullest confidence in our self-healing powers and to believe in getting well again.
I do not care to put the doctors in a bad light, I just want to remove the halo they still carry for many people. Rather, one should see the doctor as a companion who brings in his medical expertise. The responsibility, however, lies with us.
Learning to listen to our feeling
It becomes difficult to treat a disease, especially if it is classified as an incurable disease. Then it may be necessary to swim against the current. For this you have to get to know yourself very well. We should learn to recognize and interpret our gut instincts.
No matter what the disease is, we can learn a great deal from our symptoms. We can control our fear or the cold in our lives. B. recognize physical symptoms such as tremors. We look, “what’s my fear? And where is the cold in my life? “When a headache, for example, the individual can ask -” what is my headache at the moment? “Back pain -” what burden am I carrying? “
All these questions can only be answered by yourself. Your soul plays a very important role in the healing process. When our soul is healed, everything else follows.
We want a cure at all levels – body mind and soul. At best, the doctor can help us with physical health. But if your mind and soul are not healthy, it is only a matter of time before your body becomes ill again.
Your mind and soul are known only to you. You yourself are your best medicine. It’s like swimming. If we are afraid of the water, the water does not carry us. If we have weights on the body, they pull us down.
So, what to do?
We have to trust the water. In a figurative sense, that means being confident about life and taking off our baggage. Then it can go. What we need to learn now is to move.
It will take a while, but if there is a will to really learn it, it will not be long before you can swim. With each move, you become more secure and gain more (self) confidence.
How can we transfer that to our health now?
Fear is lost to doing so you have to put off your burden first. Our burden, that is our negative feelings, including a general fear of life, that is the fear that is lost to doing.
Fears and feelings of guilt block us and hinder our lives
But we have a lot of fears. Highly sensitive people often suffer from great fears. In this case it is necessary to take a closer look at them in order to realize how real these fears really are. Here’s an example. If I am constantly afraid that something might happen to one of my relatives – is that a real fear? Is it worth it to make life difficult?
The fact is that most people do not experience misfortune. If this fear were justified, there would certainly be far fewer people in the world.
So it is with almost all our fears. They only block us and keep us alive (see example swimming).
Other obstacles are z. B. guilt. You feel guilty for failing to do justice to others. But does the other one see it that way? Are we really guilty of something to others?
I think we all do what we think is right. Often we can not meet the expectations of others.
Do we need that? It is the expectations of others.
This list could be continued endlessly. After all, you know yourself best, only you know your feelings, the good guys and those who burden you.
What I want to say here is this:
All these feelings may be. But what matters is that they do not burden us.
Because everything that weighs on us makes us sluggish and heavy, so that one has the feeling of drowning in the flow of life. Many people give up and get pulled down, then depression and it leads to self-abandonment and even suicide at worst.
Is love right in life?
However, the body can also respond to unsatisfactory living conditions with illness. That’s why it’s important to look at your everyday life and ask yourself the questions, “Am I happy? Am I feeling exploited? From the family of the partner? Is love right in my life? “
These questions should be answered honestly. All of this can only be done by yourself. You should then look for opportunities to change your life. This is the same as swimming. If I do not move for a long time, I go under. The water carries me when I trust it and move. It’s the same with life and health.
In serious illness, it is important to do something and not give up, that is, move, mentally and physically. I have to change my life if it does not fit. That is of fundamental importance.
What I personally often observe is that many sick people are completely in the hands of their relatives. Many do not even know their required tablet ration. These people have given up on themselves and can not expect to get well because their bodies are coping with them.
This is where our will starts. The will to get well and to do something by own activity.
Some people do well to care for their partner. But believe me, most do not do it for their partner. They do it because it does them good. If they both like that, then it’s fine too.
I, on the other hand, want to address people who do not give up when things get difficult.
We ourselves are our best medicine. The best medicine does not help if you do not believe in it and if it is not properly dosed.
Develop confidence in the self-healing powers of the body
So, what else is important except to believe in yourself and the confidence to get well again?
You have to learn to listen to your body. You have to learn to understand him as a good friend, love him and develop a very deep confidence in your self-healing powers .
This is not everything to achieve from today to tomorrow and it will come repeatedly blows. There is no magic recipe. Everyone basically mixes their own medicine. Everyone learns to swim in their own way. The one about the diving, the other with raised head. In the end, everyone learns in his own way, if only he wants. That’s the way it is with everything in life. Everything is in your hands. That may sound easier than it is. However, your subconscious mind and your environment also play a crucial role.
It becomes difficult, if you just learn to swim and immediately swim against the current.
In this situation we are at the moment.
The idea “We are our best medicine” does not find its friends everywhere. This is because many people do not understand him yet.
If your loved ones are not willing to do so, if they do not believe that you will recover, the process of self-healing will obviously be much more difficult.
It is all the more important that you believe in your own healing. This belief must become knowledge for your medicine to work.
Also, the belief in a higher power is not to be underestimated. The feeling of being part of a whole can be very reassuring. Faith can give us security and confidence.
This power is always there when we feel bad. That can be very constructive. This makes releasing easier and makes you feel bored.
Strengthen the self-healing powers of the body through a healthy lifestyle
Also on a physical level, you can do a lot for you.
Be careful with medications, here is the golden rule, as much as necessary and as little as possible. It is best, of course, if you can meet the demand with herbal resources.
Listen to your gut feeling when it comes to food. Most people are completely unhealthy. They feed too high in fat, are stressed, eat too fast and do not have time to cook. Watch your eating habits and change them. For example, how about avoiding meat, drinking clean water and buying organic food? This is not such a hassle, but perhaps the first step to better health.
Sport can also be good for your body, but I do not mean competitive sports, it can already be an intensively enjoyed walk in the fresh air, which contributes to your well-being.
That which is good for you will tell you your gut feeling. If you listen to it and trust this feeling, your self-healing powers will thank you.
