Why being crazy is just better
Do you live your life according to a plan that your parents or society have drawn your attention to at some point? School, education, work, pension and so on? We’ll show you why it’s better to swim against the current.
Sometimes you might think we were robots. Live our life as it was given to us, without even stopping and asking whether it actually makes fun or even sense for us personally in the current form.
We go to school, often end up in a job that does not fulfill us, but at least financially protects us, and then we wait until we get permission at 67 to do our last 10-20 years what we are after actually feel like it.advertising
Crazy is not just crazy
No question, people who live the way society considers normal (school, education, job until retirement) usually work very hard for their bread and butter. Most of the time they have to work for the same money many times more than the self-employed or a freelancer. However, it is often not possible to live happily ever after.
On the other hand, people who question the meaning of everything and everyone and, if necessary, go their own – and often new – ways are viewed critically by society. They are out of the ordinary, that is, out of the normal range.
This insanity (in most cases) has nothing to do with simply not hearing the bang. On the contrary, it is precisely these crazy and different people in history who have always made it to the top or made pioneering inventions and discoveries.
But why is that? Why are crazy people more successful and happier than normal consumers and Lieschen Müller?
Question and decide for yourself
Laws and regulations are important. But when it is more a question of purely social conventions, successful people first question their meaningfulness for themselves.
Who says you should study right after school? Who says that as an employee you have to work until you retire or that you can’t cycle 20km to work every day?
High-performance athletes in particular have this pronounced mentality of not being artificially limited, but instead of setting their own limits. So it’s worth taking a look out of the box and deciding for yourself what is the right way for you. Just because you can’t run 2 km today or need at least 9 hours of sleep doesn’t mean you can’t be in top form next year.
Don’t be afraid of failure
Crazy and successful people don’t always worry about what could go wrong. They know about the possible risk, but they believe that they will surely make it.
This is not always a good thing, it often takes several attempts. But just because they try at all (which many people don’t do), they are much more successful than the eternal pessimists who, for fear of failure, don’t even dare a first try.
The inventor Thomas Edison took over 1,000 attempts to develop the first working light bulb. If he had been afraid of failure from the start, we would probably still be sitting in our apartments with torches today.
” Whoever plays can lose. If you don’t play, you ‘ve already lost . ” (Bertolt Brecht)
Full of energy and unstoppable
While the “normal” lives more into the day and constantly works for the next weekend or the next vacation, the crazy man drives an almost limitless energy.
He looks forward to every day, constantly has goals and ideas on which he works and doesn’t let anything or anyone upset him. Criticism or stupid sayings from “normal people” reinforce him and only spur him on to put his dreams and goals into practice. Such makers don’t care what any other people think about them.
Confession to be crazy
It is sad enough that the people who invented the wheel and discovered the fire by doing it differently than before are now dismissed as spinners because they do not operate within the social norm.
The more recent times also presented us with numerous people who became successful with their “being different” and “rethinking”. Examples include Albert Einstein , Steve Jobs , Bill Gates , Henry Ford , Nikola Tesla , etc.
Remember: In the “normal” way, you will only ever achieve normal results. By doing what everyone is doing, you will only achieve what everyone is doing.
Therefore, you should ask yourself whether you want to live a life according to plan 0815 and live in the box or whether you want to design your own box. It lies in your hand.
In today’s society, it is quickly considered crazy who does not move within the known norms. It was the crazy people who, through their “different thinking”, brought mankind forward.
Crazy people are not sick, on the contrary: they have kept their human urge for knowledge and self-development instead of being forced into a role. You make your own decisions and judge for yourself instead of bluntly adopting conventions and rules. They are full of zest for action and experience positive results much more often than the gray crowd.
So ask yourself whether you want to swim with the current or prefer to do what you feel like. You only have one life, so use it.
